Trick or Treat with Kromekote

Hello! Gloria with you again. The team is sharing the NEW WorldWin Papers Kromekote Cardstock Collection with you this month. This cardstock collection contains foil, glossy, and glossy textured cardstock papers in 34 colors and styles!

I created a Halloween card for you, using several of the papers from the Kromekote collection.

I created my card from ColorMates Original Heritage Black cardstock to have a sturdy base for which to layer all the other papers. I embossed the Black Lizard Kromekote cardstock with an embossing folder. My embossing sandwich was a bit tight, which caused the surface of the Black Lizard cardstock to "crack" a bit, showing some of the white core. I loved how grungy that looked! Perfect for a Halloween card!

I embossed a piece of Orange Peel Kromekote with a second embossing folder. The orange cardstock has a bit of a shimmer to it.

I die cut the sentiment from the Black Pearl Kromekote. Very shimmery!

I die cut the spider web from Radiant Pearl Kromekote Cardstock. It is hard to see in the photo, but this paper has the most luscious finish!

I added some Graphic 45 papers and a fun "button-bow" to finish the card. I put a piece of ColorMates Light Totally Tan Cardstock on the inside with a stamped message.

Thanks for looking!

It's A Kromekote Halloween

Hey everyone!  Katrina here to share some of the new Kromekote papers with a Halloween card!  This would be a great card for that special little spook that gets a little extra!

I used the Brushed Gold to create the pocket base for the card.  The pocket and pumpkin are Silhouette files.  I just used a library pocket file for the base.

Here you can see how easily the Kromekote paper embosses. I just ran the base of my pumpkin thru my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder.  Then I left the three cut outs just the way they are.  The pumpkin is with the Orange Peel Kromekote and the pumpkin stem is with the Kiwi Stripe.  All the papers I used are new to the Kromekote collection.

Here you can see the Black Lizard Kromekote in action!  And I was so please with how this cut in the Cameo.  I just backed my cut out with some Bella Blvd. washi tape.

These papers will definitely add a unique twist to any project you create! Thanks for stopping by!

Sparkle and Shine

Hi, It's Gini and I'm back to share another card created using the Kromekote papers .I combined the silver Kromekote along with WorldWin Vellum to create this wintery creation.

WorldWin Papers:
 Silver KromeKote
Vellum
Heartfelt Creations Products: Holiday Script Background PreCut Set HCPC 3562;
Banner and Trees Die HCD 739;  Ornamental Add On die HCD 73;
Frosty Blanket Patterned Paper HCDP1 225
Kaisercraft  Crystal Sparklets
Dries Clear Adhesive
Spellbinders Basket Weave M-Bossabilities
Spellbinders Grand Large Labels Die
Wow Embossing Powder
Frantage Shaved Ice
May Arts Ribbon SE01
WorldWin Papers: Silver KromeKote, Vellum
Versamark Watermark Ink
Xyron Mega Runner, Creatopia

Directions:
Use watermark ink to stamp the Script Background onto vellum, and heat emboss with silver powder. Cut a piece of metallic coated paper 5 x 7", and cut the Large Label from the center, then using the basketweave embossing folder, dry emboss the metallic paper.  Mount the stamped vellum to the back side.  Adhere to a light blue printed paper.  Roll the corners of the patterned paper towards the center.  Cut two decorative pieces from the Ornamental Add On set, and glue to the center.  Cut the two snowflake pieces from the Banner and Trees set, glue together and add a Sparklet to the center.  Use foam adhesives to add to the center cluster.  Use the dries clear adhesive to run a line of glue around the inner and outer borders of the embossed silver paper, and sprinkle the Shaved Ice embellishment over (You could substitute glitter or Flower Soft for this step).  Add Sparklets to the corners and finish with a bow.

It is a Kromekote Christmas!

Hello! Gloria with you again. WorldWin Papers has come out with a new line of cardstock, called Kromekote. This cardstock collection contains foil, glossy, and glossy textured cardstock papers. The cardstock is a heavy weight, perfect for embossing!

I used the Kromekote Silver Foil cardstock for my card. It is never too early to get started on your Christmas cards, and silver foil is perfect for the holidays! I embossed the Silver Foil cardstock with an embossing folder, and then I gently rubbed the surface with a sanding block.

I used Copic markers to highlight just a few elements of the embossed image. I die cut a small scrap of the silver cardstock with a mini tag die template, and then I stamped the sentiment on it with Staz-On ink (which dries quickly on the glossy surface).

You can see here the "scratching" of the surface that happened when I gently buffed the raised images with a sanding block! It gives the card even more dimension.

I created the card and mat with ColorMates cardstock (deep emerald isle and deep berry red).

Thanks for looking!

More Fun with Kromekote Papers

Hi, it's Gini - and today I have a card to share with you using the new Kromekote papers.  In real life, these papers are so shiny and pretty - and no matter how I tried, I really could not capture this finish in my photo.

It really does remind me of shiny nail polish!  I used a mother of pearl and a deep red and combined them with the Elan Metallics for a very elegant card.  The sentiment was from Inspired by Stamping and was heat embossed with a black embossing powder.  The dies are all from Spellbinders.

We are going to be sharing these fun papers with you all month long - so be sure to stop back by for more inspiration!

New KROMEKOTE Papers!!!

I have a card to share with you today using a brand new paper. It's called  Kromekote, and you are going to love it! It is a heavy weight cardstock, in shiny gorgeous colors. It's embossed and die cuts beautifully!!! The range of colors is amazing as well!!! I wanted to do a Halloween card, since that's getting close!!!

I used three colors on this card, The orange of course. And I used an Anna Griffin embossing folder for it. Shows the pattern beautifully! And the black background, look at the "snakeskin" looking texture to that one!!! The silver strip is embossed as well!!!!

I can't wait to play with more of these papers! I'm sure the design team will have some more gorgeous projects to share with you!!!!
